Platinum Jubilee High School, Warangal hosts ISARD ATL Fest

The Platinum Jubilee High School (PJHS), Warangal took immense pride in hosting the prestigious Innovative Scientific Analytic Research and Development (ISARD) Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) Fest 2023-24 Inter-School State Level Science Fair on 17 December 2023.

This science extravaganza aimed to celebrate the wonders of science and foster collaboration among schools in the Warangal, Hanamkonda, Kazipet, Siddipet and Nalgonda districts, providing students from Grades 5-10 with a platform to showcase their talents. The event was attended by 800 students, with a total of 134 groundbreaking projects presented by students from various schools. 

In the “Junior Category”, the top position was secured by the project “Low-Cost Green Technique of Defluorination”, earning the first prize cash award. Following closely behind were the projects “Automatic Flood Controlling System" and “Secure Life”, claiming the second and third prizes, respectively. In the “Senior Category”, the excitement reached its peak as the innovative project “Automatic E-vehicle Charging” bagged the first prize and cash award. The second and third prizes were awarded to projects “Cloth Protector from Rain” and “Traffic Management System for Emergency”. 

The unveiling of results set the stage for the much-awaited award ceremony, which was graced by the esteemed Shirish Hari Sonawane, the head of the Incubation Centre at the National Institute of Technology, Warangal. He awarded the winners and shared insights on the significance of fostering a scientific approach among the youth.  

The ISARD ATL Fest went beyond being a regular event; it turned into a joyful celebration of scientific curiosity and the endless possibilities within our student community.
