Alumni of AKHSS Achieves Academic Success

In 2014, Sajida Parveen received admission at the Aga Khan Higher Secondary School (AKHSS), Hunza in grade VIII.

Sajida’s class fellows congratulated her due to her excellent academic achievement and her outstanding performance in co-curricular activities. She did not only win her teachers’ heart but she also was highly respected by her classmates, juniors, and seniors due to her helping nature.

“The Turning point of my life was joining the Aga Khan Higher Secondary School, Hunza (AKHSSH) – a place that produces leaders, an institute that attributed purpose and reason to my life. I have been surrounded by some wonderful peers and teachers who inspired me to dream big. Along the way, I learned more about myself and realized I was a strong debater, a profound thinker, and a trusted counselor. Aga Khan Higher Secondary School, Hunza utterly transformed my life and paved my way towards leadership roles,” said Sajida.

Since 2015, Sajida remained a high achiever. In the Aga Khan University Examination Board (AKU-EB) annual examination results she scored 91%, in the Secondary School Certificate and 90% in Higher Secondary School Certificate. Furthermore, in grade 9, she had achieved 100% in Islamiat, while in grade 10 she stood fourth among the top 20 students at the National level. Currently, Sajida has undergone her first semester at the Lahore University of Management Science, however she has now decided to transfer to the Aga Khan University. 

Apart from her studies, Sajida possessed many other skills and talents. She enjoys public speaking, especially in Urdu. Furthermore, she enjoys speech competitions, creative writing competitions and debates. 

Sajida is not only an inspiration to her fellow classmates, but has inspired her teachers and principal too. She is a born leader and has the courage, potential and determination to live her dreams.
