Introduction

The Aga Khan School, Ovirk is over three decades old. It started as a primary school in 1980 with an initial enrolment of 77 students in a small garden with a single teacher. In 1985, it was upgraded to a middle school and then to a high school in 1990.

The school now serves over 400 students, 43% of which are female. English is the medium of instruction and the school teaches pre-primary through high. There are 20 teachers now, with the student to teacher ratio being 1:20.

The school teaches an enhanced version of the national curriculum, and is affiliated with the Peshawar board of examination (BISEP). It also offers the Aga Khan University Examination Board affiliated Middle School Programme.

The school offers professional development to all its staff, taking place once a month for 6 hours each, totaling 72 hours per year.

Admissions and Fees

New admissions take place in March and April every year.

  • Parents' / guardian's CNIC
