The first AKES, Pakistan schools in Chitral were established in the 1980s. Since then, these schools have greatly contributed to enhancing the quality and access to education in the region, particularly in the remote, difficult-to-access areas.
The Aga Khan School, Raman was established in 1985. It is a higher secondary school, providing education from pre-primary to Class 12.
The school offers science subjects in matric, along with pre-medical and pre-engineering in intermediate subjects. The school is also affiliated with the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Peshawar.
New admissions take place in April and August every year.
