Introduction

The Aga Khan School, Sultanabad, is over eighty years old, having been constructed in 1934. Initially constructed as a primary school, it was upgraded to a high school in 2001.

The school serves over 314 students, 45% of which are female. English is the medium of instruction and the school teaches pre-primary through to high school. The staff numbers at 27 teachers, with a ratio of 1:19 for teachers to students.

The school teaches an enhanced version of the national curriculum, and is affiliated with the Aga Khan University Education Board.

The Aga Khan School, Sultanabad, has many facilities available, such as a well-equipped computer lab, a library, a science laboratory, and a large, open sports grounds.

To ensure quality teaching and learning, the school offers professional development to all its staff. It takes place during vacations as well as every Saturday for 3 hours each.

Admissions

The first cycle for admissions starts in December, and the second starts in July.

For the admission process, we require:

  • 2 passport-sized photographs
  • B form issued by NADRA
  • Old school reports and schools leaving certificate, if applicable
  • CNIC copies of parents / guardians
