The best in Bangladesh! Nine talented and hardworking students from the Aga Khan School Dhaka were recognised by the world renowned Cambridge Assessment International Education organization with highly prestigious Outstanding Cambridge Awards.

In an event glittering with talented students from across the country, these students were acknowledged as having achieved the highest scores in their exams in the country.  Indeed, Raayan Rafsan Rahman received an award for being a world highest achiever in his A-level mathematics exams.

The awards acknowledge the tremendous efforts of parents, teachers, and most importantly the hard work of the students themselves as they push beyond previous limits to achieve success.  

Dr Dale Taylor, Principal of the Aga Khan School, Dhaka was fulsome in her praise of her students.  “Through these awards, the students not only increase their confidence, but they are also motivated to maintain their exceptional performance.  It is a matter of great pride for all of our awardees to be able to represent their country and school through outstanding academic performance”, she said.

Syed Wafi Abdullah Noor - Country highest in Chemistry (Grade 10)
Mehreen Mirza - Country highest in Additional Mathematics (Grade 10)
Dipto Provash - Country highest in English as a First Language (Grade 10)
Nahreen Nabiha Mahmud - Country highest in Biology (Grade 10)
Samin Sabah Islam - High Achievement in Environmental Management (Grade 11)
Md. Ajmain Mahtab - Country highest in Information Technology (Grade 10)
Tahmid Hakim - Country highest in Accounting (Grade 12)
