Introduction

The Diamond Jubilee High School, Gahkuch, is 40 years old, having been established initially as a primary school in 1977. It was first upgraded to a middle school in 1992, then to a high school in 1995.

The school serves almost 400 students, 52% of which are female. English is the medium of instruction and the school teaches pre-primary through high. There are 18 teachers present, and the building boasts a total of 13 classrooms. The school offers facilities such as a science laboratory, an ICT laboratory, and a multipurpose hall.

The school teaches an enhanced version of the national curriculum, and is affiliated with the Karakorum International University Education Board.

The Diamond Jubilee High School, Gahkuch, offers professional development to all its staff, taking place once a month for 6 hours each, totaling 72 hours per year.

Admissions take place from March through April.

  • School-leaving certificate of the previous school, if applicable
  • Attested copy of the computerized Form B or original birth certificate
  • Character certificate by the current / previous school, if applicable
  • Copy of the CNIC of one or both parents or guardian

The academic year starts on April 15th and ends on April 14th.
