The Aga Khan Nursery School, Kisumu is situated along the Kisumu-Kakamega Road, in Kisumu County. It was started in 1958.
To provide quality education with a focus on each individual child, acknowledging both their rights and responsibilities. We seek to develop the potential of every child; the classroom focus is on challenge, engagement and achievement where learning is celebrated in all its forms and our children thrive within a vibrant programme.

Students have an option of staying on in the afternoon from Monday to Wednesday, during which time they engage in various club activities.
For instance: cookery, swimming, art and craft, scouts or learn to play a musical instrument (violin/flute/keyboard).
The School has been participating in several co-curricular activities such as music festivals and managed to get to the 5th position nationally.
Drama festivals have always been tough but we managed to get to the regionals.
We enrol students for Taekwondo competitions at a zonal level. They usually manage to win plenty of medals and trophies.
We also engage in interschool swimming competitions, where our students engage in friendly and competitive races.
We organize reading competitions and we have a trophy with the best readers in the central zone where our school is located.
We had a chance to organize for a talent show that involved neighbouring schools.
In the spirit of collaboration with neighbouring schools interschool football is one of the events that children look forward to.
Over the years the school has registered the best performance resulting in high enrolment in the primary school.
Professional development given to teachers over the years contributes to the sterling performance of the school.
