The Aga Khan Diamond Jubilee Learning Resource High School, Thangai, is one of the oldest Aga Khan schools in the region, having been established as a primary school in 1946. It was upgraded to a middle school in 1987, and was then turned into a Learning Resource High School in 2010.
The school serves over 400 students, 39% of which are female. English is the medium of instruction and the school teaches pre-primary through high. There are 15 teachers present, and the building boasts a total of 11 classrooms. The school has many facilities available, such as a science laboratory, and an ICT laboratory.
Diamond Jubilee Learning Resource High School, Thangai, teaches an enhanced version of the national curriculum, and is affiliated with the Karakorum International University Education Board.
The school offers professional development to all its staff, taking place once a month for 6 hours each, totaling 72 hours per year.
Admissions take place from March through April.
