Introduction

The Aga Khan Diamond Jubilee Middle School, Rahimabad, is almost 70 years old, having been established as a primary school in 1950. It was upgraded to a middle school in 1976, then to a community-led high school in 2002, and then to a Model High School in 2009, at which point all sections came under AKES,P administration.

The school serves almost 400 students, 55% of which are female. English is the medium of instruction and the school teaches pre-primary through high. There are 22 teachers present, and the building boasts a total of 12 classrooms.

The school teaches an enhanced version of the national curriculum, and is affiliated with the Karakorum International University Education Board.

The Aga Khan Diamond Jubilee Middle School, Rahimabad, offers professional development to all its staff, taking place once a month for 6 hours each, totaling 72 hours per year.
