I am immensely proud to share my remarkable journey as an emerging writer. It started during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic back in 2020 when the world was adjusting to the new norm of online education. With the guidance and support of my English and Urdu teachers, I honed my writing skills, creating the foundation for my future endeavours.
My first poem, "School Routine”, found its way into the prestigious V SHINE International magazine, marking the beginning of my literary success. Undeterred, I continued to weave my magic with words, gracing the pages of renowned publications such as Young World by Dawn, Hamdrad Naunehal, Merlin, Kiddy World, Bachon Ki Duniya and Jugnu with my stories, poems and articles.
With encouragement, motivation and guidance, my mother facilitated me to publish a collection of my write-ups in the form of a book. My vision came true and my first book, "A Frightful Night And Other Stories", was published by the esteemed National Book Foundation (NBF) in Islamabad.
The book is a collection of compelling fiction stories, some of which are moral stories. The intriguing topics of the stories grab the attention of kids, and the simple vocabulary makes it easy for every child to read and understand it. It also includes a few poems.
I believe writing stories needs the power of perseverance, passion and belief in oneself. I pay my gratitude to my school, my parents and the Aga Khan Education Service, Pakistan for supporting me in discovering my potential.

Following the success of “A Frightful Night And Other Stories”, another captivating book titled “A Magical Pot and Other Stories” has been released by Aleeza. Her second book has also been published by NBF and is available on their website here.
