Introduction

The Diamond Jubilee Learning Resource High School (DJ LRHS), Chatorkhand, is over 70 years old, having been established as a primary school in 1946. It was first upgraded to a middle school in 1973, and turned into a Learning Resource School in 2010.

The school serves almost 500 students, 45% of which are female. English is the medium of instruction and the school teaches pre-primary through high. There are 20 teachers present, and the building boasts a total of 11 classrooms. The school has many facilities available, such as a science laboratory and an ICT laboratory.

The school teaches an enhanced version of the national curriculum, and is affiliated with the Karakorum International University Examination Board.

The school offers professional development to all its staff, taking place once a month for 6 hours each, totaling 72 hours per year.

Admissions

Admissions take place from March through April.

For the admission process, we require:

  • Filled application form
  • Two recent passport-sized photographs
  • School-leaving certificate of the previous school, if applicable
  • Attested copy of the computerized Form B or original birth certificate
  • Character certificate by the current / previous school, if applicable
  • Copy of the CNIC of one or both parents or guardian

The academic year starts on April 15th and ends on April 14th.
