The Aga Khan Lycée, Khorog

This celebration was specially arranged with love.  Musical performances, traditional dances and songs and a wonderful play by the graduates of the Lycee amazed with colorful decoration and costumes.  The performances carried educational and devotional messages extending the best wishes for His Highness, and the unity and wellbeing of the Ismaili community and broader societies. 

Parents, committee members, school personnel, students and specially invited guests from the range of AKDN network organizations enjoyed this beautiful and very heart touching celebration. 

Thanking the organizers, the Principal of the Aga Khan Lycee in Khorog concluded the event by recalling the truly inspiring speech His Highness the Aga Khan had given at the opening ceremony of the Lycee in September 24, 1998: “I trust that in the years ahead we will look back on the opening of the Aga Khan Lycee in Khorog as the beginning of something very important for Khorog, Tajikistan and perhaps even Central Asia. As His Excellency the President said, if we are successful here then there will be something important learnt for other educational institutions all over Tajikistan”.
