The Aga Khan School, Sidhpur

The co-educational school follows the Gujarat State Curriculum from Grade 1 to Grade 11. Lessons at all levels are facilitated through an integrated curriculum, which is supplemented by a variety of extra-curricular activities, field trips and class projects.

About Us

The Aga Khan School in Sidhpur was established by Aga Khan Education Service, India in 1993 as a Gujarati medium school. It was later converted into an English medium school in 2002.

At the Aga Khan School, Sidhpur, we believe in nurturing talent and developing all-round students using innovative educational methods. Our school has a spacious campus and numerous facilities, such as an AV room, performing art room, resource library, two computer labs and a fully equipped science lab.

The School was established in 1993 under the Aga Khan Education Service, India (AKES, I) as a Gujarati-medium, co-educational school. However, it became an English-medium school in 2002. We are affiliated with the Gujarat State Education Board. However, the curriculum is kept broad-based and progressive. To ensure the holistic development of students, we encourage our students to participate in numerous extra-curricular activities.

Today, the School serves over 900 students from various cultural and social backgrounds and offers an educational continuum from grades 1 through grade 12. We inspire our teachers to constantly innovate and help them grow through our Professional Development Programmes and Teachers' Resource Centre.

Parent Teacher Association

The School supports and encourages an on-going partnership between the School, parents and management.

The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) promotes a close relationship between home and the School.

There are separate associations for the pre-primary, primary and secondary sections, which are elected annually according to State Education Department stipulations.

Parents are encouraged to be involved in the social and emotional development of their child.

Application Process

Admission for your child into the Aga Khan School, Sidhpur is a four-step process.

Step 1

Admission forms can be obtained from the administrative office of the school. Parents will be notified regarding the date and time of the same.

Step 2

Submit the duly filled application forms to the administrative office of the School before the due date.

Step 3

All timely submitted forms will be considered for admission, and the final list will be displayed on the school's notice board on a pre-appointed day which will be communicated to the parents.

Step 4

Fees will have to be paid within the stipulated time to confirm the admission.

Age Criteria for Nursery

The child should have completed three years of age on 1st April 2018.

Student Achievements

Sara P. of grade 10 bagged the first prize in the English Essay Writing Competition conducted by Info Media Azad Hind in June 2016.

Vivek H and Adil S. of grade 9 bagged the first and second places in Karate competition conducted by the YMCA, Hyderabad in August 2016.

The kho-kho girls and boys team were the runners-up at the district-level 62nd School Games Federation Competition in August 2016.

The volleyball boys team won at the district-level 62nd School Games Federation Competition in August 2016.

Teachers Achievements

A team of teachers successfully cleared the Key English Test (KET) and Preliminary English Test (PET) conducted by University of Cambridge.
