PJHS, Warangal students win double gold at E-NNOVATE International Innovation Summit 2024

In a remarkable display of talent, students from the Platinum Jubilee High School (PJHS), Warangal made their mark at the prestigious E-NNOVATE International Innovation Summit 2024, a global platform that celebrates innovation and creativity.

Organised by IBS Global Consulting, a globally recognised business consulting and training firm, E-NNOVATE empowers young innovators to present transformative ideas that solve real-world problems. The 2024 edition, held from 28–31 May in Poland – with PJHS, Warangal students participating online – was hosted in collaboration with Poland’s Ministry of Economic Development, the Patent Office and UNESCO. It featured 250 innovations from 14 countries, including Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Poland and India, making it one of the world’s leading innovation showcases.   

In June 2024, the winners were announced. Out of the 63 gold medals awarded globally, three Indian entries received gold – two of which were awarded to PJHS, Warangal, underscoring the school’s outstanding performance in this highly competitive field: 

  • “Automated Transport Management System”: Developed by a team of Grades 6 and 8 students – N. Amogh Sai, G. Ruthwik, M. Daiwik, G. Rishivardhan and G. Sai Harshith – this innovation aims to optimise traffic flow and reduce congestion, which earned gold in the “Transport and Logistics” category.  
  • “Motion Detecting Pesticide Spraying System": Created by a group of Grade 8 students – D. Om Tanmay, I. Rithvik, M. Sai Varshith, P. Nikhil Teja and G. Laxmi Sai – this system ensures precise pesticide application by detecting motion, thereby reducing waste and minimising environmental impact. This project won gold in the “Agriculture and Aquaculture” category.  

“Our students’ innovations not only showcase their ability to tackle real-world challenges through technological advancements but also positions PJHS, Warangal as a hub of young talent and creativity," said Mr Raja Chandra Sekhar Rao, the head of the science department. 

The double gold at the E-NNOVATE International Innovation Summit 2024 is a proud testament of the Platinum Jubilee High School, Warangal’s commitment to cultivating a culture of innovation by encouraging every student to engage in hands-on science exploration, guided by dedicated teachers who nurture creativity and problem-solving.
